Game Development Progress

Yep, this is where the magic happens :) -Ron Mc.

Development: Where the rubber meets the road.

Here you will find updates about the game’s progress throughout the development of “Edge of the Wild”. It’s a gritty process, but the punishment is worth it.

Thank you for all of the support!

NOTE: This is a sneak-peak image of the opening cinematic that lays out the backstory (not of actual game-play).

Hello!

Thank you again for all of the support! I am excited to share with you what I've been working on.

Recently I've made quite a bit of progress fixing various bugs that I've been putting off:

1. Weapons: Fixed a problem with reloading (reload animation would play even if the player was out of ammo).

2. Camera View: Fixed a problem with the camera being jerked around when transitioning from different events (i.e. landing with a parachute caused the camera to shake wildly).

3. Traversal: Fixed a problem where the player's ability to climb walls wasn't working.

In addition to these fixes, a ton of progress was made in regard to world building. Specifically, the opening cinematic has been added which lays out the backstory leading up to Sara's adventure and the events of "Edge of the Wild".

Thank you again for joining me on this journey and I look forward to sharing more content as it becomes available.
